As a rider of 40 years, I have been wearing hairnets underneath my riding helmet for a very long time.  My complaint was the knot on the original Hairnet would go directly onto my forehead and the pressure once the helmet was on was very uncomfortable.  I could push the knot back off my forehead but then my hair would come out of the net.  After complaining to my husband for years, he said "Why don't you design a more comfortable equestrian Hairnet".  So, after a very long winter in Vermont, the "One Knot Hairnet" was designed.
